Want to be a part of Chisago Lake's newest activity? Chisago Lakes Community Ed is offering you the chance to join our Mock Trial team! A mock Trial is a competition in which students simulate a real trial, competing against other schools. The trial concerns an official AMTA case that remains the same throughout the entire competition season. Several area attorneys and law clerks are going to be the advisors for the team. Mock Trial is open to this school year's freshman through senior student body. While a practice schedule is still being determined, the, the thought is we'd meet no more than twice per week until closer to competition. Competition season begins January 6 and each team is guaranteed four rounds, so it ends around mid-February. If you have further questions, please reach out to Community Education Director Daniel McGonigle at dmcgonigle@isd2144.org.
