In this multi-session ceramics class, students will learn about the many incredible ways we make with clay! Artist and maker Alysse Lensing will demonstrate and guide students through the essential techniques used in hand building, throwing on the potters’ wheel, decorating, and glazing ceramics. Each week we will focus on a different method and its purpose, exploring functional ceramic projects through creative processing and problem solving.
