    Explore the wonder of your child’s expanding world through a variety of planned activities. In this class, parents and young toddlers play and learn together. There will be an interactive circle time where parents and children participate together with singing and movement activities. Parents and Children do not separate.   • 3D Printing & CAD

    This camp takes students through the 3D printing process from start to finish. Students will design 3D objects using TinkerCAD and use the 3D slicing program Cura to bring their creations to life. This course is an excellent introduction to 3D printing and is ideal for students who like to draw, design, imagine, and see their creations come to life. Students will print one keychain during class. If printing is not completed in class, prints will be mailed home. Bring a Lunch and something to drink. Register by Grade going into the 24-25 school year.
  • 3D Printing Jewelry Fabrication & Arts

    Bring your creations to life in this 3D printing class. The ancient craft of jewelry making is brought to the modern world using TinkerCad and 3D printers. Students will learn to build 2D and 3D models on the computer using CAD software. They will design and print a pair of earrings, or a pendant in this class. If printing is not completed in class, prints will be mailed home. Please bring lunch and a drink. Register by Grade 24-25 school year.

  • 6th Grade Track & Field Club

    Chisago Lakes track and field coaches and teams will be hosting a youth track and field club this spring, with classes meeting the first 5 Mondays and Wednesdays of May, ending with a meet. Athletes will get the chance to learn about, practice and compete in sprints, relays, distance, hurdles, high jump, long jump and throws. The club will be ending with a meet at Chisago Lakes High School on Wednesday, May 17th, at 6:00 pm. Parents will be expected to transport athletes to and from that meet.
  • A Midsummer Night Dream Registration

    Audition Information You will have to register through Chisago Lakes Community Education (as the spring show is a partnership with them). Auditions will be held February 20 and February 22, 2024. 6:00pm-8:00pm at Chisago Lake High School in the PAC (door 33). Participants should prepare one of the monologues to present and be ready to read with another scene partner or two at auditions. Once the show is cast you will receive a more detailed rehearsal schedule after the table read. We do our best to work around participant conflicts. All actors will be expected to attend all assigned rehearsals. Please bring with you any conflicts to auditions. Audition Packet
  • Active & Confident! 2-3 year olds

    The class introduces Myla Wilson, a professionally trained Ukrainian gymnast who will share her many talents and experiences. Join us to help your son or daughter learn to be active and confident! Held each Thursday in the gymnastics room at the Wildcat Community Center, our new Active and Confident class encourages parents of two to three year old's to participate and learn various skills. Your toddler will love this class! In this class children will learn new skills and abilities of the body! They will become more confident, develop coordination, flexibility, balance and more! They will have fun learning from playing games, running, jumping, climbing and parents will be active too! Parents, plan to participate with your child in this class, and let’s have fun together! The 2 and 3 year old's will meet on Thursday's at 9.30 am. Please wear comfortable sportswear.
  • Active & Confident! 4-5 year olds

    The class introduces Myla Wilson, a professionally trained Ukrainian gymnast who will share her many talents and experiences. Welcome to our gymnastics class for 4 and 5 year old boys and girls! This class (section 2) will include stretching, strengthening all muscles of the body, developing coordination and the ability to react. By taking this class, students will learn to exercise appropriately, they will improve their flexibility, develop their strength and focus, discipline and gain confidence and coordination. It is an ideal base for all sports in the future! The 4 and 5 years old's will meet Thursday's 10:30 am. Please wear comfortable sportswear.
  • Advanced Tennis Clinic

    Advanced Tennis CLINIC: Grades 7th through 12th (Register by grade going into in September of 2024) Our Advanced Tennis CLINIC will be a special clinic catering specifically to students who have already played on either their varsity or JV teams in high school (or, for 7th graders, are pre-approved by the coaches*). The 1-1/2 hour clinic will be divided up into 2 sections: approximately the first ½ hour will be used to go over a specific skill (groundstrokes, volleys, serves, etc.) and then the last hour will be used for assigned matchplay. They will also be shown actual game tactics and gamesmanship while participating in matchplay. This approach will thus give students some training coupled with real play. Not only will students play in singles matches but they will also be given doubles training and then be assigned to doubles matches. All players will be given personal attention and taught through repetition in an enjoyable way. Videoing will take place during the class to give students immediate feedback on how they are doing. * Optional: T- Shirts are $14.00.     Anxious for Love?

This group will explore contemporary attachment theory as it can be applied to personal friendships, professional connections, or love relationships. Bruce Neese, BA MA Certified LIfe Coach will facilitate this group. Participants will be given tools, a nonjudgmental space, and dialogue to do self examination of their attachment styles. You can move from anxious to secure, from insecure to self confident. Come explore why you attach the way you do and how to reshape your attachment style. The group is open to individuals or couples. You can have healthy connections in any area of life. You can have a secure attachment style.

    During early childhood screenings, staff will check your child's: vision, hearing, height, weight, immunization status, thinking & communication skills, & social and emotional development. Parents will have the opportunity to discuss the results of the screening with a staff member. Children must be 3 years old on the date of their screening appointment.
  • Aqua Fitness - Age 55+

    For ages 55+ Aqua Fitness is a great way to exercise with low impact to joints. It will help strengthen muscles and bones all while having fun in the water! This class provides a light to moderate aerobic workout that increases endurance, core strength and flexibility. There is limited use of equipment. The instructor leads participants through light weight movements to increase strength and cardio movements such as walking, jogging, kicking, cross-country ski movements and jumping jacks. All equipment is provided, but if you have your own, feel free to bring it along. Please wear swim wear.   • Beginner Tennis Class

    Beginner Tennis Classes: Grades 2nd - 6th OR 4th - 8th (Register by grade going into on September 1st of 2024) Our Beginner Tennis Classes are an opportunity for your child to start to learn the great game of tennis! This will be accomplished through a fun, safe and positive tennis experience that will give each child a great introduction to the game. Emphasis will be placed on learning and reinforcing good tennis mechanics. Participants will learn how to properly hold a racket, perform drills that can help with their eye-hand coordination, and swing the racket properly for groundstrokes and volleys. Each player will be given personal attention and taught through repetition in an enjoyable, lively atmosphere. A video of each player with written review will be made at the end of the session by Coach Ron and shared exclusively with parents.
