  • Advanced Tennis Clinic

Advanced Tennis CLINIC: Grades 7th through 12th (Register by grade going into in September of 2024) Our Advanced Tennis CLINIC will be a special clinic catering specifically to students who have already played on either their varsity or JV teams in high school (or, for 7th graders, are pre-approved by the coaches*). The 1-1/2 hour clinic will be divided up into 2 sections: approximately the first ½ hour will be used to go over a specific skill (groundstrokes, volleys, serves, etc.) and then the last hour will be used for assigned matchplay. They will also be shown actual game tactics and gamesmanship while participating in matchplay. This approach will thus give students some training coupled with real play. Not only will students play in singles matches but they will also be given doubles training and then be assigned to doubles matches. All players will be given personal attention and taught through repetition in an enjoyable way. Videoing will take place during the class to give students immediate feedback on how they are doing. * Optional: T- Shirts are $14.00.
