The Child and Babysitting Safety (CABS) program from the American Safety and Health Institute provides everything you need to know for safe and successful babysitting. The students will receive their certification card and instructions to access a digital copy of the Child and Babysitting Safety (CABS) Student book at the end of class. From getting started with your business to collaborating with parents and children to key safety, caregiving, and first aid tips, CABS will help set you up for babysitting success. Students must be present for the entire class and complete achievement of the core learning objectives to receive certification valid for two years. Students attend this class independently and should come prepared with a notebook and pen.
Ariane Bromberg’s enthusiasm and commitment to early childhood education spans over 25 years and includes the roles of child care provider, mentor, advocate, and professional early childhood instructor/trainer. Ariane’s contributions include participating in the Care Fellowship, serving on the Child Care Task Force, and as chairperson of Family Child Care, Inc advocacy committee and a volunteer in number youth organizations.
