  • Family Fun Time

    PRICE IS PER FAMILY - PLEASE ONLY ENROLL ONE USER/ADULT DURING REGISTRATION. Register online for $5 per family/per date or buy a $25 punch card for 6 visits - adult supervision required. Great opportunity for parents, grandparents, or homeschool teachers to bring students in for activities in our facilities. Gymnastics room will be open with stations set up and the full room ready to explore! Drop-ins are welcome.
  • Esports Junior (Middle School)

    Middle School Esports now available to Chisago Lakes 6, 7 and 8th graders! This is an exciting opportunity for students to engage in competitive video gaming. Chisago Lakes Middle School Esports Junior is a part of the MNVL (Minnesota Video League) and competes against area school districts. Spring season for Esports starts soon! Esports is a fun competitive group that promotes inclusion and teamwork. The students play games competitively with schools from all over the state. Students compete at home on devices they already own. Spring Season Dates: Chisago Lakes Esports Registration opens Jan. 2 (will remain open until Feb. 14) MNvL Registration Opens: January 29 MNvL Registration Closes: February 14 Preseason: February20 Preseason Ends: March 3 Regular Season Begins: March 5 Regular Season Ends: April 14 MNvL Junior State Finals: May 4, 5 Spring Spring 2024 games are as follows: Super Smash Borthers 1v1 (SSBU) Minecraft 2v2 *Please note: Due to several limitations, we are not offering Chess and Mario Kart at this time. The spirit of MNVL is to always play if you can, and never take a forfeit win unless you absolutely must. Although not a rule, this is a standard we hope all our teams and players try to live up to! Therefore, please only register if you know you can meet the committment. Season Structure The MN Varsity League will run for two weeks of preseason, followed by six weeks of regular season, and one week of playoffs/finals and then state finals.     Rhythmic Gymnastics

    Rhythmic gymnastics is just what girls need at an early age. After all, in this class, girls not only receive the physical activity necessary to improve their health, while developing vital skills and abilities; they also develop flexibility and dexterity, and acquire correct posture. Rhythmic gymnastics makes the figure beautiful, the movements flexible and graceful, so register today! The training is conducted by a professional rhythmic gymnastics athlete! And former member of the Ukrainian national team, Liudmyla Wilson.
  • Active & Confident! 2-3 year olds

    The class introduces Myla Wilson, a professionally trained Ukrainian gymnast who will share her many talents and experiences. Join us to help your son or daughter learn to be active and confident! Held each Thursday in the gymnastics room at the Wildcat Community Center, our new Active and Confident class encourages parents of two to three year old's to participate and learn various skills. Your toddler will love this class! In this class children will learn new skills and abilities of the body! They will become more confident, develop coordination, flexibility, balance and more! They will have fun learning from playing games, running, jumping, climbing and parents will be active too! Parents, plan to participate with your child in this class, and let’s have fun together! The 2 and 3 year old's will meet each Thursday for six weeks at 9.30 am. Please wear comfortable sportswear.
  • Gymnastics: Tumble Cats

    This class focuses on tumbling, balance and coordination. Activities will be used to teach fundamental gymnastics skills. Kindergarten age children are welcome to join this class. Wear non-baggy athletic clothes. No tights (socks or bare feet only).
  • Family Gymnastics Fun

Parents and children will use the full gymnastics room together practicing various skills while working to improve balance, strength and coordination. Bring a water bottle and wear comfortable clothes. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Space is limited.
  • Tiny Tot Dance & Movement to Music

    Join in the fun as you will move to the upbeat music while learning fun beginner dance moves. This class is a perfect intro to dance class for tiny tots that love to move to the beat!
  • Youth Volleyball 3rd & 4th Grade

    Completed Grades 3-4 Bump, set, spike! Work with the High School Coaches and Players to learn and improve your skills. Includes a t-shirt. We will be dividing the group into 3 teams, mostly by age but also by skill and availability for tournaments. Tournament location will be dependent on team decisions which we don't know yet! All tournaments are from 8-11am at either Rush City High School or Mora Elementary School and the dates are 4/6, 4/13, 4/20, and 4/27. They are OPTIONAL to participate in and families will sign up for the tournaments they want to attend on the first night of camp.
  • 7th/8th Grade Track & Field

    Open to all current 7th and 8th grade students! Join teammates after school this spring to enjoy learning the events of track and field! Athletes will get the opportunity to try a variety of events from throwing, jumping, hurdling, relays and sprinting to distance events. Coaches will lead conditioning and training for track and field daily, as well as assist athletes in choosing which events they may be most successful in. Athletes will be encouraged but not required to practice as many events as possible. Transportation to and from meets will be provided and uniform tops will be provided. Athletes will need plain black shorts for competition and will need adequate training/running shoes for practices daily. Running spikes are not required for 7th and 8th track and field but can be used for competitions. Make sure to check the Track & Field website often!   • Gym Games

    This class will be a great way for kids to stay active after school with a rotation of assorted gym games from tag to racket and ball sports. Join your friends to learn new games or gain more experience in those you already know!
  • Floor Hockey

    Play hockey in the gym after school and practice puck handling and shooting skills. Students will work on skills as well as play games. All equipment provided.
  • Gymnastics: Open Gym

    Gr. 1-12 A great opportunity for extra practice on polishing and perfecting your skills. This open gym will be supervised by a coach with limited spotting available. We will spend 20 minutes on group warm up then 25 minute rotations on each event. This Open Gym must have a minimum of 8 registered by 2:00 pm the Friday prior to the Open Gym date to run the event . (You will be notified by email if class is cancelled.) $12 per session ($10 per session for WCC members) Bring a water bottle and wear appropriate attire. ie leotard, shorts.

Athletes will get the chance to learn about, practice and compete in sprints, relays, distance, hurdles, high jump, long jump and throws.

    Chisago Lakes track and field coaches and teams will be hosting a youth track and field club this spring, with classes meeting the first 5 Mondays and Wednesdays of May, ending with a meet. Athletes will get the chance to learn about, practice and compete in sprints, relays, distance, hurdles, high jump, long jump and throws. The club will be ending with a meet at Chisago Lakes High School on Wednesday, May 17th, at 6:00 pm. Parents will be expected to transport athletes to and from that meet.
  • Active & Confident! 2-3 year olds

    Now that the weather has warmed, we're heading outside for fun on the field! Students will practice and play wiffle ball while working on hitting, fielding, throwing and catching in this class. In the event of rain, class will be held indoors.
  • Middle School Soccer Skills - Boys and Girls

    Join Chisago Lakes High School coaches and athletes in this skills session. Classes will meet at the middle school and focus on dribbling, passing, shooting and teamwork in the development of each player. This skills session will benefit everyone from the beginning soccer player to the experienced player. In the event of inclement weather, this class will be moved indoors.
  • Soccer Club - Boys and Girls

    Come join the high school soccer coaches and athletes for 4 sessions of skills and games! Athletes will work on dribbling, passing, shooting and learn necessary skills for both game play and success in practice. This club is for everyone from beginner athletes to experienced soccer players, ages K-6. Sessions will be held outside at Molnar Field, and will be moved indoors if necessary due to weather conditions. T-shirts will be provided for all athletes.
  • PreK Track & Field Day

    The gun goes off and a crowd of children run down the track towards the finish line - running as fast as they can! It's a track and field event for kids in preschool, ages 3-5. There will be events like the long jump, hurdles and the 50 yd dash and just for fun events like the parent-child three-legged race and parent-child relay. There will be ribbons for all following the events.

    Beginner Tennis Classes: Grades 2nd - 6th OR 4th - 8th (Register by grade going into on September 1st of 2024) Our Beginner Tennis Classes are an opportunity for your child to start to learn the great game of tennis! This will be accomplished through a fun, safe and positive tennis experience that will give each child a great introduction to the game. Emphasis will be placed on learning and reinforcing good tennis mechanics. Participants will learn how to properly hold a racket, perform drills that can help with their eye-hand coordination, and swing the racket properly for groundstrokes and volleys. Each player will be given personal attention and taught through repetition in an enjoyable, lively atmosphere. A video of each player with written review will be made at the end of the session by Coach Ron and shared exclusively with parents. (Players will need to have their own racket.*) * Optional: T-Shirts are $14.00. This class will focus on the continual progression of their skills. Adding to all of the things listed for beginners will be: rotation of grips for groundstrokes, footwork drills, further focus on volleys, and an intro to proper half-volley and serve techniques. Again, each player will be given personal attention and taught through repetition in an enjoyable way. A video of each player with written review will be made at the end of the session by Coach Ron and shared exclusively with parents. (Players will need to have their own racket.*) * Optional: T- Shirts are for sale for $14.00.     Beginner to Intermediate Tennis Class

    Beginner to Intermediate Tennis Class: Grades 7th through 12th (Register by grade going into on September 1st of 2024) Our Beginner to Intermediate Tennis Class will be a combo class that will give anyone in grades 7th through 12th the opportunity to either learn the great game of tennis in the first place or continue to hone their tennis skills! For beginners: Emphasis will be placed on learning and reinforcing good tennis mechanics.
