  • Volleyball: Middle School

    Grade 5-7 (completed) This camp is for beginner and intermediate players who will be in middle school in the fall of 2024. The focus will be on intermediate skill development in the areas of attacking, blocking, setting, passing, serving, and digging. Campers will be grouped by age and ability.     Grade 8-11 (completed) This camp will focus on volleyball fundamental skills in the areas of attacking, blocking, setting, passing, serving, and digging with break-out sessions for position training as well as system training, court awareness, and volleyball IQ. Girls who will play at any high school level for the 2024 season should attend this camp, as there will be sessions adapted for both elite players and beginners. Includes a t-shirt. Questions?     Track & Field: Triple Jump Camp

    All incoming 7-12th graders, come join Chisago Lakes coach, Everett Appleby to work on the basics and improve your skills at the triple jump. Camp participants will learn a proper warm-up for horizontal jumps, a variety of drills, and get the opportunity to practice the triple jump and view video footage to get better. Bring water and a snack if needed. T-Shirt included.
  • 3D Printing Jewelry Fabrication & Arts

    Bring your creations to life in this 3D printing class. The ancient craft of jewelry making is brought to the modern world using TinkerCad and 3D printers. Students will learn to build 2D and 3D models on the computer using CAD software. They will design and print a pair of earrings, or a pendant in this class. If printing is not completed in class, prints will be mailed home. Please bring lunch and a drink. Register by Grade 24-25 school year.
  • Football: Chisago Lakes Youth Camp

    Completed 2-5 gr This camp focuses on the fundamentals of football, coached by the varsity football staff. Offensive skills will include: passing, catching, ball handling and blocking. Defensive skills include: tackling, pass coverage and fumble recovery.
  • Festival Theatre Preforming Arts 7-12

    An acting course for 7th-12th grade students put on by local professional theatre teachers from St. Croix Festival Theatre! Students will have fun and learn skills in acting rooted in interactive storytelling and imaginative play. Course will include a playful, diversified education in acting, vocal training, improv, and movement.

Please register by experience and level in volleyball. If they’re brand new to volleyball, register them under the Beginner’s class! If they’re experienced with volleyball, have them join the Experienced class!

    Survival Camp in Minecraft: Team up & Survive in our multiplayer world. Explore the unknown and join other Survival enthusiasts to overcome challenges, complete quests on our server. We will be using the PC/Java edition of Minecraft. Bring a USB drive to save your games. Please bring lunch and a drink.

    Come join the Appleby coaches for 9 workouts to finish off the summer. If you aren't in a fall sport this is a great chance to continue your workouts. Each session will include strength, speed & agility. *For incoming 8th graders and up.
  • Camp Invention

    Chisago Lakes welcomes "Camp Invention." Open to next year's K through 6th graders, Camp Invention will help your child explore learn and grow as they attend "Base Camp." Camp Invention’s new program, Illuminate, is an inspiring, weeklong summer experience that provides opportunities for open-ended, hands-on exploration of science, technology, engineering and more! Campers take on a variety of exhilarating activities each day, have fun collaborating with friends, think creatively and invent their own solutions to real-world challenges. The all-new 2024 program will spark the imagination of both new and returning campers with an adventure full of inspiration, innovation and unforgettable discoveries! During this action-packed, confidence-boosting program, young innovators will learn skills to make their own creative mark on the world.

    Players going into Grade 7 (2024-2025 school year) This program is for Chisago Lakes Middle School students only. Registration deadline is Friday, August 2 The season will begin the week of August 12th and practices will be held at the high school. The season will end in mid to late October . Practices will be at the Middle School on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings prior to the start of school. After school begins, practices will continue at the Middle School on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday evenings. Games are typically on Saturday or Sunday, with an occasional week night game. Teams will have a minimum of 20 students per team and parent volunteers will serve as coaches. Teams will be evenly divided by talent and size. This will be done by the end of the second week of practice. Each grade level will practice as one group/team. Players who commit and are healthy will get an opportunity to play and develop. Each player will be required to sign a MSHSL Behavior Waiver as well as turn in a Sports Physical to Val Rogers in the Activities Office. Free sports physicals for all Chisago Lakes 7-12 students are being offered at the Summit Orthopedics Vadnais Heights location from 5-8 pm on July 17 & 22nd. The registration fee is $200, which will include the use of a helmet, shoulder pads, and a game jersey. Players will be contacted about picking up equipment after they are registered. The team will include kids who attend elementary school in the Chisago Lakes (2144) school district and in grades 1st through 5th during the 2024-2025 school year. Cheerleaders will learn all the fundamentals of cheering and stunting, learn a full routine and compete in MCCA approved competitions. Cheerleading promotes physical activity, fosters teamwork, teaches discipline and time management, encourages leadership skill all while having fun with peers! Practices will be Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:30-6:45pm at the High School starting in October and end the last week of January. Three Saturday competitions will be required. An initial payment at registration of $250 includes Uniforms, poms poms and competition fees. An additional fee of $100 will be required at the beginning of the season for music/choreography/bows.
