    Come join us for an evening of learning based fun with many different types of building materials! Adults will participate with their child, while discovering how to use math, reasoning, critical thinking skills, fine motor skills, and hand-eye coordination all while using our imaginations! We will have wooden blocks, legos, magnatiles, and many other building materials, big and small, to be engaged and creative with. *There will be small parts. **With limited classroom space and lots of movement in the room, only 1 adult per child.

    Lendt's Pumpkin Patch Hayride

    ECFE is inviting the whole family to join us for a hayride through the 40 acre pumpkin patch at Lendt's Farm! Once we get on the hay ride the first stop will be the inside of an inactive bee hive to learn how honey bees work. Then we will head over to the pumpkin patch where everyone will get to pick any size pumpkin from the field. The last stop will be to the corn field where everyone gets to pick out one large and one small Indian corn along with one popcorn on the cob! You will receive instructions on how to pop the popcorn too! Picnic tables are available to have lunch or a snack from home, after the hayride. You will also have a chance to play in the corn pit, take some photos in the many, cute photo ops available, and do some extra shopping if you would like. Other Items to Shop for Include: Indian Corn, Popcorn on the Cob, Corn and Sorghum Bundles, Straw Bales, Pie Pumpkins, Giant Pumpkins, Pumpkins of all Colors, Painted Pumpkins, Gourds, Squash, Mums, and Honey! *Everything is cash only. There is an ATM on site. Check in will be at Lendt's Pumpkin Patch, 6903 Wyoming Trail, Wyoming MN 55092 at 9:45am so we can begin the ride at 10am At the time of registration, please select the number of people that will be attending the event with you in the drop down. This will ensure we have an appropriate count for the hayride.

  • Little Wildcats Preschool Open House

    Come with your child to play and learn all about the fun educational activities we do in Little Wildcats Preschool. We invite ALL children who are 3-5 years old and their parents/guardians to attend. Families will participate in multiple stations, get a book to take home, and enjoy a small, healthy snack.

  • Parents Make and Take Learning Thru Loose Parts (PARENTS ONLY)

    Parents, come learn how using loose parts can help and enhance your child’s learning and academic success at home! Simple items and reusable activity sheets will allow your child to work on literacy skills including letter making and naming; mathematical skills including number naming, 1:1 counting, patterning, more/less concepts, and more! The pieces can be used over and over for learning! You will learn all of these concepts and more, create your own Smarts Parts Box for your child, and take home reusable activity sheets to make learning fun and interactive for your child! The activities explored will be good for children Preschool aged through Kindergarten. This is a parents ONLY class. You will learn the concepts and gather the materials while you are in class and bring them home to enjoy with your child **Chokable pieces will be part of the take home materials

  • Trick or Treating at Parmly

    Calling all trick or treaters! Join Chisago Lakes ECFE for our annual trick or treating event! This is a non-scary opportunity for children to dress in costumes, load up on candy and treats, and participate in a costume parade for the elderly residents. This is an indoor event so the festivities will go on rain or shine! This event is FREE! So grab the kids, tell your friends, and join us for a night of festive fun!
