Enjoy learning piano and the basics of reading music in a laid back, group setting. Over a period of 12 classes, you will gain basic skills needed to read music and play piano. Students will learn familiar songs and reinforce key musical concepts through games and musical activities. By the end of the class, you will be able to play songs with both hands, play music with others, and be comfortable reading music in the staff. While everyone is welcome, this class will be geared towards students who have little or no experience in music. Keyboards will be provided for the class and although a piano at home is not required, it is strongly recommended.
